7. Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles)
It’s all in the name. Despite his mid-life crisis culminating into a rescue mission by his wife to find him, with a side-effect being your kids tagging along, with all parties involved nearly being killed, Mr. Incredible shows that powers or not, you must be good. We’ve all seen that tough time in life–not where you want to be, may be stuck in a awful job, mundane routine after another. But it’s his sort of carelessness and thrive to be out there saving the world that shows just how incredible of a dad he is. Even when he had nothing to lose, Mr. Incredible did not take in revenge. When his kids were in danger, Mr. I. wasted no time in opening a fresh can of turbo charged superpower fatherly-protection. And the film’s third act presented his faith in his children. When any other parent should have been “go home, you’re too young to fight”, he was all “let’s kick some butt”. It was just too cool.
